(our gathering place)
The Seneca Nation Health System’s Prevention Program in collaboration with the Seneca Nation Cattaraugus Community Center, is excited to announce the opening of a new, youth-centered clubhouse that will provide a place for young people to develop social skills that promote long-term health, wellness and a drug-free lifestyle.
Opening soon, the clubhouse will provide a substance-free safe space for youth ages 12-17. Located at the Saylor Community Building, it will be open Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 9:00p.m. The Seneca clubhouse will provide a culturally relevant, community-based and non-clinical setting for promoting long-term substance use prevention through skill-building, recreation, education, wellness, evidence-based prevention programs and other social activities. Youth clubhouse members will also have the opportunity to support each other and achieve personal goals. Be on the lookout for more details coming about the clubhouse grand opening.
